The top eight swimmers from the Heats qualify for the A final. The next eight descend into B and the next eight into C. In the women’s division, Shakti Balakrishnan finished 34th out of 42 swimmers in the 200m freestyle. India has won two gold and one silver medal in the tournament so far.
Expressed happiness over son’s success
On the success of his son Vedanta, actor R Madhavan says that he is very happy to have won the gold medal and is overwhelmed and grateful for this achievement. Actor R Madhav, Vedanta’s father, expressed happiness by posting a video of the medal ceremony on social media app Instagram. Madhav (51) wrote in his post on Instagram, Vedanta Madhav won a gold medal in the 800m swimming event today. I am extremely happy and overwhelmed and grateful. Madhavan shifted to Dubai to prepare for his son
Madhavan had recently shifted to Dubai to prepare for his son. Vedanta wants to participate in the 2026 Olympic Games. Seeing this, Madhav decided to go to Dubai with his family. There are better swimming pools in preparation for the Olympics.
