Sparta Global is a company that markets itself as a leader in providing training and career development in the tech industry. However, my personal experience with them has been nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others about the unprofessionalism and mismanagement that I encountered.
In April, I applied to Sparta Global, believing it to be a promising opportunity for career growth. At the same time, I had an offer from Virgin Money, which I ultimately declined in favour of Sparta Global. This decision quickly proved to be a mistake.
My ordeal began when I received an offer contract from Sparta Global on 20th May. However, this was only the start of a series of delays. The initial start date was postponed, and a new contract for 10th June was also delayed. We then had a call discussing potential start dates around 22nd July to 1st August. Yet, when 22nd July arrived, the start date was delayed once more to an uncertain September, leaving me in a prolonged state of limbo.
These repeated delays and lack of clear communication wasted four valuable months of my time. I turned down a secure job offer from Virgin Money based on the expectation that Sparta Global would be a better fit, only to be left with nothing but frustration and uncertainty.
The unprofessional handling of my application by Sparta Global has not only hindered my career growth but has also caused significant stress and disappointment. Instead of supporting and advancing my career, Sparta Global has placed me in a far worse position.
Additionally, Sparta Global frequently posts career opportunities on their website, creating the illusion of numerous job openings. However, in reality, their entire process is dependent on client availability, leading to significant delays and false promises of immediate employment.
I urge anyone considering joining Sparta Global to think twice. My experience has shown that this company is unreliable and unprofessional. I will be sharing this review online and with media outlets to ensure others are aware of the potential risks of associating with Sparta Global.
Watch out and reconsider before making any commitments to this company.
