Wenzhou east hub station city complex concept plan global call has been launched, which aims to bring together the wisdom of the global design elite, together to create a modern large-scale integrated transport hub with international first-class level.
The project is located in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, east of Longwan International Airport, one of the key infrastructures of the “14th Five-Year Plan”. The project aims to build a transport hub integrating airports, high-speed rail, high-speed and urban rail transport, helping Wenzhou to become a national comprehensive transport hub city, realising the economic linkage between the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promoting regional integrated development.
The call covers the high-speed railway station, rail transit station, ancillary transport and commercial space, with a total area of about 267 hectares, and is divided into two levels: station-city integration design and conceptual programme study. Participants are required to have legal personality, corresponding design qualification and relevant engineering performance.
The call process is divided into three stages: application and pre-qualification (12-28 August), selection of the preferred proposal (2 September to 5 November), and announcement of the successful proposal (early December). Of the six finalists that have passed the assessment, the winner will receive ¥8 million for deepening services, ¥900,000 for the second and third places, and ¥700,000 each for design compensation for the fourth to sixth places.
Pre-qualification documents are sold for ¥500 and can be purchased on-site or by mail, and registration materials must be submitted on time to the designated channel.
