Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), India’s largest startup investing platform, has invested in Vitonnix, the UK-developed preventive healthcare company behind the proprietary SubliSpray® nutrition platform.
The backing marks Vitonnix’s first institutional investment and supports growth in India as well as expansion across the United Kingdom, Europe and other international markets. It comes as the company prepares to launch an initial ten-product range with Boots UK in 2026. The capital is not being used to discover whether the technology can work. It is being used to scale a platform that has already been developed and commercially validated.
Having sold millions of bottles across its markets, Vitonnix built a large and loyal repeat customer base before taking institutional capital. The company has also established its own scientific and manufacturing infrastructure and created regulatory and commercial foundations across multiple international territories.
Alongside IPV, other investors in Vitonnix include practising doctors and prominent figures from Indian cinema, music and media, among them actor and entrepreneur Riteish Deshmukh, actor Boman Irani, singer Jaspinder Narula and film producer Madhu Mantena. These investments are separate from IPV’s participation and reflect wider belief in Vitonnix’s preventive healthcare mission.
Vitonnix has also extended its delivery platform into companion-animal health through Vetonnix, bringing its science-led oral-spray approach to the everyday supplementation needs of dogs and cats.
Founded by doctors to solve a clinical problem
Vitonnix was founded by three practising doctors: Dr Prashant Jindal, a UK-based refractive eye surgeon; Dr Deepti Jindal, a dermatologist; and Dr Rajesh Handa, an oral surgeon. The wider project brings together practising doctors from India and the United Kingdom, formulation scientists, regulatory specialists and healthcare professionals. It has been built by clinicians and technologists rather than assembled as a conventional marketing-led supplement brand.
Dr Prashant Jindal has practised for more than twenty years, serves an international patient base and is a Harper Collins-published author and founder of several philanthropic initiatives.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Director of Orthopedics at Max Hospitals, leads Vitonnix’s medical team in India and is part of the company’s core leadership. Bringing extensive frontline clinical expertise, he plays a pivotal role in shaping Vitonnix’s medical strategy, product innovation, and long-term vision of making nutritional supplementation more effective, convenient, and accessible.
The idea began with a simple observation from clinical practice involving people with macular degeneration and other conditions: taking a supplement is not necessarily the same as absorbing it effectively. Many people struggle with tablets and capsules, while others take supplements inconsistently because conventional formats are inconvenient or poorly suited to their lifestyles.
Vitonnix’s answer was SubliSpray®, a range of nutritional sprays designed for absorption through the oral mucosa. These are not tablet formulations transferred into a spray. Each has been developed for the delivery system, including ingredient compatibility, dose consistency, taste, stability, absorption and shelf life.
More than a decade of research and product development has gone into the platform. Internal studies and real-world clinical observations have been undertaken on selected formulation, alongside professional evaluation and real-world clinical observation.

UK-developed, India-scaled and difficult to reproduce
Vitonnix was initially developed in the United Kingdom before India was chosen as the base from which to scale research, formulation and manufacturing. Development and global operations continue to be directed from London and Birmingham, working alongside the company’s teams and offices across India.
The model combines British clinical experience, Indian scientific and manufacturing capability, and precision spray systems engineered in Germany, with bottle designs and formulations for which patent applications have been filed. Vitonnix has refused to create a lower-quality proposition for India. Indian consumers receive the same world-class commitment to formulation, delivery components, manufacturing and quality control that underpins products developed for international markets.
Its competitive advantage rests on four connected foundations: proprietary formulations and intellectual property; specialised manufacturing capabilities; international regulatory infrastructure; and clinical credibility arising from doctor-led development, clinical studies and professional use.
A competitor would need to reproduce not one product but an interconnected system of formulation science, delivery technology, manufacturing expertise, regulatory knowledge and clinical trust. That is what makes Vitonnix a healthcare technology platform rather than another supplement label.

Extending the platform into companion-animal health
Vetonnix broadens the group’s addressable market beyond human nutrition. Described by the company as the world’s first oral nutritional spray platform for pets, its initial range covers skin and coat, calming support, multivitamins, growth and development, and bones and joints. The products are designed to reduce the difficulty of administering pills and powders, support more consistent supplementation and demonstrate how Vitonnix’s formulation and delivery capabilities can be applied across adjacent healthcare categories. Grand View Research values the global pet supplements market at USD 2.8 billion in 2025 and projects it will reach USD 4.6 billion by 2033, underlining the scale of the adjacent opportunity.

International validation
Vitonnix has undertaken product registrations, regulatory filings and market-entry work across the United Kingdom, the United States, the UAE, India and other international territories.
Early support from the Tata group played an important role in bringing Vitonnix to India, followed by the development of a co-branded range within the Tata ecosystem.
In the United Kingdom, Boots UK has selected an initial ten-product Vitonnix range for planned launch in 2026. The relationship is an important step in the company’s international retail journey and provides further validation of its product quality, regulatory readiness and ability to meet the requirements of a major British health and beauty retailer.
Founder-built and ready for institutional scale
Vitonnix’s technology, portfolio, regulatory foundations and manufacturing capabilities were built principally through founder capital. Its approach was ‘minimum burn and maximum brainpower’, investing first in science, technology, people and long-term capability.
IPV’s backing will help Vitonnix strengthen senior leadership, build its consumer-growth engine, expand distribution, accelerate international market entry and develop strategic healthcare and retail partnerships.
“Vitonnix stood out because it is not simply another consumer supplement brand. It combines clinical leadership, differentiated delivery technology, proprietary formulations, manufacturing control and international ambition within one platform. Dr Jindal and his team have built the business with commitment and capital discipline. We believe Vitonnix has the potential to create global impact in preventive healthcare, and we wanted to be part of that journey.”
Vinay Bansal, Founder, Inflection Point Ventures
“Vitonnix began in the United Kingdom with a clinical question, but the ambition was always global. We spent more than a decade building the company properly, from formulation science to manufacturing and international regulation, before taking institutional capital. India gave us the scientific talent and manufacturing base to scale, while our British clinical roots established the standards behind every product. IPV’s backing recognises the healthcare platform we have built and the lives we believe it can change.”
Dr Prashant Jindal, Co-founder, Vitonnix
The next chapter in India, the United Kingdom and Europe
IMARC Group estimates India’s nutraceuticals market will grow from USD 8.93 billion in 2025 to USD 23.09 billion by 2034. MarketsandMarkets estimates Europe’s dietary supplements market will grow from USD 45.75 billion in 2025 to USD 64.03 billion by 2030.
Vitonnix will continue strengthening its position in India while using the United Kingdom as an important gateway for European growth. The next phase will focus on retail distribution, strategic healthcare partnerships, regulatory expansion and building a globally trusted preventive healthcare brand.
Its story is no longer simply about taking a British innovation to India. It is about taking a UK-developed, India-scaled healthcare technology to the world.
