All preparations have been completed in Ayodhya. The temple premises are decorated. The premises are ready, the sanctum is waiting and the eyes of 140 crore Indians are now glued to all the goings on in Ayodhya. Devotees lined up on the roads are just waiting for the moment when Lord Sri Ram will have prana pratistha and then the grand darshan of Ramlala. The hour is near. Only seven days left. The date for Pran Pratistha is fixed on 22nd January 2024 and the ritual for it is going to start from 16th January before this fixed date. A special ritual will take place every day from Tuesday to Monday, January 22, full details of which have been provided. .Just now the centuries-long wait of the devotees is over and the ritual of Rama Lalla’s Prana Pratistha is about to begin.
The rituals are starting from 16th January
The entire program of this seven days has been presented by the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. The program will begin on January 16 with an atonement and Karmakuti Poojan. After this, the idol will be entered into the temple on January 17. After this there will be more rituals every day. Which includes water, herb, fragrance, ghee, grain, sugar, flower etc. After the completion of all these adhivas, Prana Pratistha will be performed on 22nd January. The auspicious Prana Pratistha of Lord Shri Ram Lala’s idol will take place on January 22, the day of Kurma Dnadashi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Posha. Prana Pratistha will be performed in Prana Pratistha Abhijit Muhurta.
- Date and Place of Planning: The auspicious Prana Pratishtha Yoga Posh Shukla Kurma Dwadashi of Lord Sri Ram Lala Murthy falls on Vikram Samvat 2080, i.e. Monday, 22 January 2024.
- Scriptural Protocol and Pre-ceremony Ritual: Following all scriptural protocols, the Prana Pratistha program will be conducted in the afternoon at Abhijeet Muhurta. The Prana Pratistha Pre-Samskara formalities will begin on January 16 and will continue till January 21, 2024.
