Let us tell you that touching the feet is forbidden in Islam and that is why there has been an uproar in Pakistan. Another Pakistani journalist, Arzoo Kazmi, wrote, ‘It is called Tameez.’ Another user wrote, “When you watch Bollywood movies all your life, an entire scene from the movie comes up on an occasion like this.” Apart from this, another user has said, ‘It is called the religion of honor.’ While Nawaz Sharif’s party leader Chaudhary Ahmad Raza has said, is it wrong to touch the feet of your parents?
