Holi-Dhuleti festival was celebrated by Indian and Nepalese community in Arsetia, California, USA. In which a large number of people were gathered. Local elected representatives were also present on the occasion.
Dhutheti, the festival of colours, was celebrated in India, while the people of Indian and Nepali origin living in America celebrated the Dhutheti festival collectively. A vibrant Holi festival was organized at Arsetia Park in association with Indo American Cultural Society of North America Madheshi Association, Arsetia Chamber.
An overview of the culture of India and Nepal was given in this festival. Yogi Patel of Labon Hospitality Group, Parimal Shah and Dinesh Shah of IACSNA were the main organizers of this event.
Various competitions were held in the event where prizes were given to the contestants, the final of the Rafali event was won by Valis Beike who was gifted a 60 inch TV. Mayor of Arsetia, local police officers, Council General of Nepal, local businessmen were also present in the festival.
All were provided colors and food by special Yogi Patel and Dinesh Shah. Yogi Patel expressed his gratitude to all the Indians and people of the Nepali community for making the program a success.
