Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the International Flower Show at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. The International Flower Exhibition 2025 has got off to a grand start from 3rd January. Which will be for visitors till next 22 January.
What is special? In this flower show, replicas of animals, birds and many historical buildings are made from flowers.
70 to 100 rupees ticket: The entry fee of flower show in Ahmedabad on Saturday and Sunday has been kept at 100 rupees. While from Monday to Friday it is Rs 70.
QR code becomes a guide: Visitors to the flower show can scan the QR code to get an audio guide about different flower varieties, clay sculptures and zones.
This is how flower show is organized: Many independent corporate and government organizations have joined as partners in this flower show.
Demonstration as per PM Modi's suggestions: As per Prime Minister Narendra Modi's suggestions (during his visit last year), emphasis has been placed on public participation.
Exhibition of more than 10 lakh flowers: The flower show is divided into six zones, displaying more than 10 lakh flowers of 50 species and more than 30 clay Benmoon artefacts, sculptures.
Organized for the first time in 2013: The first flower show was organized at 'Sabarmati Riverfront' in 2013 and Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of the state at that time.
400 meter long wall of flowers: Last year, this flower show was also registered in the Guinness World Records for the famous 400 meter long wall of flowers.
2 million visitors last year: Last year the International Flower Show saw around 2 million visitors and this year will break the previous record too.
