The government has changed the rules on passport. Now a birth certificate has been applied to create a passport. However, this rule will not apply to all people.
In fact, the Central Government has made a birth certificate compulsory for those born on or after October 1, 2023 by modifying the Passport Act. Without it, those people would not be able to apply for a passport.
However, still born before October 1, 2023. Instead of a birth certificate, they can get passports by providing alternative documents such as their driving license or a school -leaving certificate as evidence of the date of birth.
