Tensions have increased between India and Pakistan following the death of 26 innocent tourists in the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. India has taken fast and concrete steps at both military and diplomatic levels. Pakistan’s response has been limited to nuclear threats, misleading publicity on social media and diplomatic complications. The Pakistani army has already been strategically separated. Economically weak and internally divided. It is not in a position to handle any kind of military conflict. Nevertheless, it is promoting false military preparations through social media and some local media platforms.
Recently, a video of Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir inspecting the frontline on LoC went viral, which was rejected on social media as the older footage of 2022. The Indian Defense Ministry called it a deliberate propaganda. India said that this was just an attempt to handle the declining public trust in Pakistan.
On April 29, a promotional video released by the Pakistan Air Force featured scenes of Russia’s S-400 missile system, Falcon 9 rocket of SpaceX and Call of Duty Video Game. Pakistan has none of this. This absurd promotion was shortly targeted by people on X and the comment section had to be closed.
Threats of nuclear attacks
On the one hand, senior Pakistani ministers threaten a nuclear attack, while Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif appeals to a neutral investigation. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif threatened to resort to a nuclear option if Pakistan’s survival threatened, while Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi added a nuclear threat to a water dispute. At the same time, the Home Ministry of Pakistan appealed to the international community for mediation for fear of potential military action by India. But major countries, such as the US, Britain and the UN Security Council, have rejected any direct intervention and advised only restraint.
The moral level of the Pakistani army is declining
According to a Times Now report, there have been reports of morale decline in the Pakistani army. A large number of people have been demanding resignation from the army in a viral leaked letter. However, this has not been officially confirmed. Let me tell you that Pakistan has not even denied this.
Pakistan’s military budget
Pakistan’s military budget is stuck at just $ 7.6 billion, which is negligible compared to India. According to experts, Pakistan’s forced military deployment on the LoC is spending $ 15-30 million per day due to military deployment. This is a big blow to its weak foreign exchange reserves and broken economy.
India’s well -thought -out strategy
India has taken concrete and restrained measures in this regard. Pakistan’s propaganda, nuclear threats and internal dissatisfaction are constantly weakening its position. The world has now accepted the policy of “produce the first stress, then mediate” and does not show any seriousness.
