Now let us tell you what is calcium carbide finally? An industrial chemical, mainly used in welding operations, can contain toxins such as arsenic and phosphorus. When it is exposed to moisture, acetylene releases a gas, which helps to bake the fruit quickly, which is not natural and it can prove to be risky.
Now let me tell you how to identify them if there is such chemical in the fruit. Unusually it shines or the same yellow fruit may be suspected. Even if the fruit looks completely ripe from the outside, it is raw from the inside, it may be artificially ripe. Eating such fruit can cause sore throat or inflammation in the stomach.
