Paramedics in two ambulances stabilised him at the scene.
He taken to the private Nuestra Senora del Rosario Polyclinic on the island.
A hospital spokesman said he was admitted just after 9.30pm last night.
A well-placed source said: “Yesterday a 25-year-old man fell from the car park of the Mercadona supermarket in San Antonio.
“He was taken by an advanced life support ambulance to the Nuestra Senora del Rosario Polyclinic where he was admitted at 21:38.
“The patient, a British national , remains in the intensive care unit in a very serious condition after suffering a traumatic brain injury with a skull fracture, dorsal vertebral fractures, chest trauma and a collapsed lung, as well as abdominal injuries and injuries to his spleen and liver all caused by the fall.”
It is not clear whether the injured man was alone or with other people at the time of the fall.
It is unknown exactly where the injured man comes from in the UK.
The Civil Guard is understood to have launched an investigation into the incident.
No one from the police force could be reached early this morning for comment.
The height from which the man fell is not yet known.
It comes after a Scottish teenager died last year after falling from a sixth-floor hotel balcony in Ibiza.
Emma Ramsay, 19, from Hamilton, had been partying with friends before the tragic fall.
