Russia has supported US President Donald Trump's call for global ban on biological weapons. In his speech in the United Nations, Trump said he was calling on each country to permanently abolish the development of biological weapons. He proposed that Artificial Intelligence could be used to confirm compliance.

Kremlin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that Russia supports US President Donald Trump's biological ban on a widespread global ban. Peskov said Russia welcomes Trump's “extremely important call” and considers it a great initiative.

Dimitri Peskov said, “Naturally, the Russian party is willing to participate in such a process of abandonment of biological weapons, will be willing to participate in the general abandonment of biological weapons, and in certainty, in any way it will formally formally be good at internationally”.

Russia has been constantly alleging that the US has used Ukraine as a lab of biological weapons. However, Russia has not yet presented any evidence in this regard.
