
Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has reported strong results for the second quarter (Q2) of the financial year 2025-26. The company's consolidated net profit (profit after tax) rose 14% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹22,092 crore. Although slightly lower than the previous quarter (QoQ), this was due to an exceptional gain in the previous quarter, which made profits appear higher then.
Income from operations, or total income, in the quarter was ₹2,83,548 crore, up 9.9% compared to ₹2,58,027 crore in the same period last year. In the quarter ending June 2025, the company's revenue was ₹2,73,252 crore, showing a quarterly increase.

ARPU of Jio Platforms increased by 8% to ₹211.4.
Jio Platforms Limited (JPL)'s revenue grew 14.9% year-over-year. This increase is due to rapidly growing customer base in both mobile and home segments, ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) and continued expansion in digital services.
The company's EBITDA (operating profit) also grew by 17.7%, driven by revenue growth and a 140 basis point margin expansion. Average revenue per user (ARPU) increased by 8.4% to ₹211.4 per user.
Oil to Chemicals (O2C) business revenue increased by 3.2%
Revenue from Reliance's Oil to Chemicals (O2C) segment grew 3.2% year-on-year. Ready-to-sell production also saw an increase of 2.3%. Jio-bp has also boosted the company's fuel retailing activities. Jio-bp achieved 34% volume growth in HSD (Diesel) and 32% in MS (Petrol).
The O2C segment's EBITDA (operating profit) grew by 20.9%, mainly due to increased demand for transportation fuel and strong sales in the domestic market. In downstream chemicals, however, the polymer segment saw strong growth, but this impact was offset by weaker margins in the polyester chain, the company said.
Reliance Retail's profit reached ₹ 6,816 crore
Reliance Retail's quarterly revenue (Q2 FY26) rose 18% year-on-year to ₹90,018 crore. The company's EBITDA (operating profit) also increased by 16.5% to ₹ 6,816 crore. The company opened 412 new stores during the quarter, taking the total number of stores to 19,821. The company said its fast hyper-local commerce business, or quick delivery to nearby areas, is growing at a strong pace.
