Ambalal Patel has made a chilling prediction for the new year. According to him, there may be another flood crisis in Gujarat at the end of October and monsoon-like conditions will prevail in the state even in winter.
Unseasonal rain is likely from October 27 to November 5 as two systems are simultaneously active over Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. Especially in some areas of Saurashtra there may be very heavy rain and people have been advised to be alert for this.
Moreover, there is a possibility that there will be rain in the new year as well. After October 25, the intensity of rain is likely to increase. According to the forecast, 11 districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the coming days. This unseasonal weather condition may create drought conditions in Gujarat.
