Date for filing audit report?
The scheduled date has now been extended to November 10, 2025. This will give taxpayers extra time to complete the audit process and prepare the report. CBDT has issued a press release in this regard, clearly mentioning this extension.
This, experts believe, will provide special relief to small and medium businesses, which often face last-minute pressures. Tax payers can monitor the official income tax portal (incometax.gov.in) for these updates. CBDT clarified that apart from this extension, other dates will remain unchanged.
