
The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 auction will be held on November 27 in New Delhi. This mega auction will start at 3:30 PM. A total of six teams will bid for 277 players in this auction. These players include 194 Indian and 66 foreign players. Five teams have previously retained their 16 players.

Gujarat Giants – Rs 9 Crores
Royal Challengers Bangalore – 6.15 crores
Mumbai Indians – 5.75 crores

WPL 2026 Auction Rules
Each franchise can field a maximum of 18 players, with a minimum of 15 players per team. There are a total of 73 vacancies across the five teams, of which 23 are reserved for foreign players. For the first time, teams will be able to use a maximum of five Right to Match (RTM) cards to buy back players from their 2025 squad. Franchises that retain fewer players will have more RTM and more money in the auction.
