More than 700 giant sinkholes have appeared in the Turkish city of Konya, which has alarmed scientists. Surprisingly, these large craters have fallen not over a period of months or years, but overnight, after which the fear has spread across the country and even scientists are worried.
These sinkholes are swallowing vast farmlands of farmers, causing them to panic. Drone imagery shows the craters to be 100 feet wide and several feet deep. Scientists are yet to discover the secret behind these craters.
