Another new file in the Epstein files has been released by the US Department of Justice (DOJ). US President Donald Trump's name appears several times in these files. Documents from the newly made public file claim that Trump traveled several times in the private jet of accused sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s. In one file, Trump, Epstein and a 20-year-old woman were named. who flew together in a private jet.
However, the file clearly states that it does not prove that the woman was a victim of any crime or not. It also states that having a person's name in the Epstein files is not evidence of a crime. Last week, some files related to Epstein were also made public. Trump's name is mentioned several times in the new files. It also contains an important email. This email was sent on January 7, 2020 by the Senior Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The subject of the email was “Epstein Flight Records”.
Flew with Epstein 8 times in 3 years
Trump flew on Epstein's private jet at least eight times between 1993 and 1996, the email said. Ghislaine Maxwell was also present on four of these flights. Ghislaine Maxwell is believed to be an associate of Epstein and has also been convicted of aiding and abetting Epstein's crimes. The email also said that on some flights, Trump was accompanied by women who could be potential witnesses in the case against Maxwell.
According to the documents, his then-wife Marla Maples, daughter Tiffany Trump and son Eric Trump were also listed as passengers on various flights. One flight listed only Trump and Epstein's names. The second flight lists only three passengers: Epstein, Trump and a 20-year-old woman. However, the identity of the 20-year-old girl has not been revealed in the document. Britain's Prince Andrew (Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) is also mentioned several times in the new files. Prince Andrew has already been embroiled in controversy over his relationship with Epstein.
Trump and Epstein have been friends for 15 years
The publicizing of the files has reignited debates about Epstein and Trump's past relationship. Both were friends for about 15 years. However, Trump has claimed that his relationship with Epstein ended in 2004. Trump has consistently maintained that he had no knowledge of Epstein's crimes and had nothing to do with the crimes Epstein committed.
