
In the Billawar area of Kathua in terror-hit Jammu and Kashmir, 3 terrorists have been trapped in a cordon by security forces. An encounter has taken place between the terrorists and the security forces, who have surrounded the security forces' house. One terrorist was reportedly injured in the encounter. Continuous firing is going on from both sides. Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have surrounded the terrorists.
Three Jaish-e-Mohammed militants are suspected to have been trapped in a cordon by security forces and the Jammu and Kashmir police, officials said. He said the encounter started in Kahog village of Billawar, on Wednesday evening. After receiving information about the presence of two to three terrorists, the security forces launched a massive search operation.
Jammu IGP Bhim Sen Tuti tweeted that the SOG in Kathua had an encounter with militants in the Kamadh Nala forest. Despite the dark, thick bushes and dangerous terrain, the SOG has continued to clash with the militants. CRPF teams are also participating in this joint operation. According to sources, locals spotted a terrorist in the Kamad drain in Billawar police station area around 4 pm.

Dhannu could be a terrorist released on parole
Sources said this could be the same terrorist, who was seen released on parole with Dhannu this morning. Officials said additional forces have been sent to the village to neutralize the militants. After receiving intelligence, a joint team of Special Operations Group (SOG) and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area. When the militants opened fire on the search team, the security forces retaliated, leading to an encounter. Despite the dark night and thick jungles, the security forces are determined to neutralize the terrorists.
