The Ahmedabad Fire Department has purchased a state-of-the-art Deep Tracker underwater robot, which will perform everything from life saving to dead body search. The Deep Tracker robot, which performs underwater rescue, search and heavy duty operations, has now become a part of the Ahmedabad Fire Department. Earlier private individuals had to be relied upon for such operations, but now the fire department has its own modern facilities.
This robot has been kept on standby in two parts Ahmedabad East and Ahmedabad West. This robot will play an important role in finding any object, dead body or vital evidence and bring it out of the water. Special training has also been given to fire department personnel on the riverfront.
Importantly, this robot will also eliminate the problem of challenging rescue operations, night time hassles and hours of delay. As a solution to all the problems, the fire department has now got 'Deep Tracker'. Which will also operate in deep water like river, canal. And the 4K camera will provide clear vision in the dark of night. Like swimmers, this robot is also not bothered by snakes or other vermin.
It is very difficult to find drowned people in river, canal at night time. In that case, this robot will be very useful. Finding an object can already be ascertained, where is the object? The robot will also detect weapons thrown by criminals in the river.
