President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has welcomed the achievement of a full ceasefire and truce agreement in the Middle East, describing it as a significant step toward regional de-escalation and global stability.
The agreement was reached with the mediation of Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir. President Tokayev commended their diplomatic efforts in facilitating dialogue between the parties involved.
He also acknowledged the role of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, whose goodwill and leadership, alongside the constructive engagement of Iran’s senior leadership and other involved countries, contributed to making the agreement possible.
President Tokayev expressed hope that the truce will be durable and serve as a foundation for renewed cooperation. He emphasized that sustained peace in the Middle East would have positive implications beyond the region, including strengthening global trade flows and supporting broader economic stability and prosperity.
Kazakhstan reaffirms its consistent support for diplomatic solutions and dialogue as the primary means of resolving international conflicts and promoting long-term peace.
