Recently, a 12 -day struggle between Iran and Israel ended after the ceasefire. This was hoped that the situation would be a bit normal in the Middle East. But Israel has suddenly turned his attention to Lebanon. On Friday, Israel carried out large -scale airstrikes in South Lebanon, causing chaos to spread throughout the area.
The eyewitnesses told Shafaq News that there were major blasts in the area, as well as the noise of Israeli fighter aircraft. In addition, surveillance drones were also seen in many parts of South Lebanon.
Which places were targeted
The Israeli army has said that it had carried out these attacks to stop the activities of Hizbullah. The hills of Nabatiah al-Fauka and Ikalim al-Tufah were attacked in several places in South Lebanon. The attacks claim that Hizbullah’s infrastructure and activists were targeted.
According to the Shafaq News report, the Israeli army said that Israeli fighter aircraft targeted a hiding site in the Mount Shukef area (locally known as Ali al-Tahar) in South Lebanon.
The hiding site was being used to operate the fire control and security system of Hizbullah. According to the Israeli army, this is part of an underground project, which was previously damaged in Israeli attacks, but is now being rebuilt.
Hizbullah said he would not lean, the fight will continue
According to Lebanon News Portal Naharanet, the day before the attack, Sheikh Naim Kasim, deputy chief of Hizbullah, clearly stated that Lebanon would not be under pressure nor accepted. “This is our country, we want it with respect and we will fight for it,” he said.
Attacks are constantly taking place
It is noteworthy that even after the ceasefire agreement on November 27, Israel is conducting regular attacks in Lebanon. Two people were killed in a Thursday attack. Now on Friday, there has been a widespread attack on Friday, causing tensions to increase in South Lebanon.
