
The Indian team has been proud of the world stage through a unique display of Indian consonants in the World Cleanry Cup organized by Global World Chef in Malaysia. The Indian team prepared a Gujarati plate under the “Indian Kusin” category and won the gold medal.
The Gujarati plate was prepared by “Team of Three”. The team presented fifteen different traditional and delicious dishes in just an hour and a half. These recipes included green syrup, container, baked hand, mugs, cumin potato, puri, pada khichdi, yogurt tikhari, palm-peanut pomegranate, peanut salad, onion, mango pickle and finally leaves.
The “World Peace” MockTail prepared by Himachal Prakash Kumar Mehta along with the message of peace in the world was also awarded the Gold Medal. With the inspiration of the three colors of Indian tricolor, he prepared this mocktail with a unique smoking effect by obtaining water crush, milk, edible kapoor and saffron water in 15 minutes. This mocktail became a unique presentation of world peace.
More than 1700 contestants from 28 countries around the world participated in various categories. Global Chef Association President Chef Arthur Lim praised the art of Indian cooking and greeted every contestant. The total medal received by India includes Gold 4, Silver 8, Bronze 14.
