In fact, Nimisha Priya is accused of killing her business partner Abdo Mahdi. Nimisha has been sentenced to death in this case. He was to be hanged on July 16 but has been postponed enough.

Despite all the efforts, the government could not convince Yemen officials to stop hanging. The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of the case till July 18 to consider further development. Nimisha Priya was sentenced to death in 2020.

Dinesh Nayar, a core committee member of Nimisha Priya International Action Council, said that the council was making hard efforts to apologize to Nimisha Priya. Nair has said that we are in touch with the victim’s family and have arranged a large sum to get waiver. Although the victim’s family refused to be involved in the case, it has been a question of honor.
Nimisha’s mother in Sanaa for the last 1 year
Nimisha Priya’s mother Prema Kumari has been campaigning for the past one year and has been appealing to the victim’s family to take legal action and mercy. The Foreign Ministry has said that he will provide as much assistance as possible to Priya and his family. In fact, this case has raised concerns across the country and many have demanded more efforts to ensure the liberation of Nimisha Priya to the Government of India. The Supreme Court will determine the further proceedings on July 18 at the next hearing.
