The Vadodara Municipal Corporation's budget-related general assembly is witnessing the suspension of opposition councilors in the city's politics. The mayor decided to suspend all 7 opposition councilors for allegedly violating the limits of the meeting and ignoring the order. According to information, Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Srivastava along with 6 other councilors were suspended for continued protest and ruckus. During the general meeting, opposition MPs raised a demand to summon the commissioner, which was rejected by the ruling party leader. There was also a heated argument between the two parties on this issue.
3.70 lakh check publicly handed over to the commissioner!
During the meeting, there was also a complaint that opposition members were speaking continuously for the last three hours.
