
Due to rising tensions between Iran and Israel, international air routes are witnessing heavy traffic, due to which air services in Gujarat have also been affected. Several international flights operating from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in particular have been cancelled.
According to information, several flights to and from the Middle East have been suspended for now. A total of 12 international flights are being canceled and passengers are facing huge hardship. Many passengers are waiting at the airport to get updates on flights, while some airlines are providing information on alternative arrangements.
Especially Etihad Airways has announced a helpline number 1800 123 3901 for their passengers, so that passengers can get information about the latest flight status. Other airlines have also advised to get updates through their official websites and customer care.
Airport authorities have requested passengers to check the flight status with their respective airlines before travelling. Considering the current situation, the schedule of some flights may be changed in the coming days as well.
