Under the direction of Adonis Hakkim, the HMI Group has launched its latest testing facility “Official Rapid Tests” in central London, offering PCR, Antigen and Antibody tests. It has opened up over 20 different testing facilities across the capital, and a further 50 across England, Scotland and Wales.
London has worked so hard to contain the spread of the COVID-19 and the addition of this new testing centre will only help as we look to contain the number of positive cases.
The new facility at Official Rapid Tests , improve access to COVID-10 testing for residents living in London.
Most people with Coronaviruses do not show any symptoms, but they can still pass it on to others. This can be prevented by regular testing. Hundreds of positive COVID-19 cases have already been detected using PCR Test London.
Covid-19 Antigen Test with Fit to Fly Certificate
Are you traveling abroad and need proof that you are fit to fly? To verify that you are not infected with Covid-19, some countries now require a negative Covid-19 swab test and certificate.
Using a long swab, you will collect a sample from the back of your throat and nose for the Travel Covid Antigen test. The swab will be analyzed in-house and the results will be available within 30 minutes. The swabbing itself will take 5 minutes, and the results won’t take long to appear. Your results certificate will be sent via email or can be collected.
The COVID-19 test detects certain proteins in the virus. Antigen tests can be done in minutes by using a nasal swab to collect a fluid sample.
Symptoms of COVID-19
Those with symptoms of COVID-19 – a new continuous cough, a fever, or loss of taste or smell – should remain at home for 10 days. If you have COVID-19, you need to isolate for 14 days
You can stop self-isolating as soon as you feel better if you test negative after experiencing symptoms. If everyone in your household tests negative, you can stop self-isolating.
There are three benefits to getting a test:
We can then ask you about those you have been in contact with, and ask them to isolate themselves if you test positive. By doing this, you prevent more people in your local community from becoming infected, and you help control the virus.
Those going to the local testing centre will be asked to go directly to the centre, take the test, and then return home. They will also be required to wear a face mask. There will be a queueing area within the fenced area of the local testing center for those attending. The measures will reduce the risk that people attending tests will spread COVID-19 to those they meet nearby. In order to reduce the risk for the staff, they will wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Once again, we are happy to see the latest initiatives brough forward by the HMI group, aiding Londoners with their fight against COVID-19.
