AIR Fryers have recently experienced a boom in popularity, with many fans of the appliance taking to TikTok to share their recipes.
One such individual is TikToker @airfry_jen, who has recently shared how she uses her air fryer to make the perfect mess-free omelette in just minutes.

First, she cracks a couple of eggs into a measuring jug, which she then mixes with a drop of milk, before adding in just a handful of grated cheese.
You can add other ingredients to your omelette if you wish, although be sure to check that the additions are suitable for cooking in an air fryer, as some ingredients may make your otherwise tasty dish not quite as good as you’d hoped.
Having mixed her trio of ingredients together, Jen transfers this from the jug to her air fryer. She then sets the appliance to 190 degrees and leaves it for seven minutes.
Taking it out after the time is up she’s left with a tasty omelette, with only the jug, and her plate, needing to be washed when she finishes her meal.

Other air fryer users shared that they would be trying this recipe next, with one adding: “I guess this would also work in a halogen air fryer, I need to try it.”
“I just got an air fryer, have to try this!” wrote another.
While a third commenter asked: “What Uk stores could I check online for stock of this air fryer? Ireland is completely sold out everywhere.”
To which Jen suggested trying Very, John Lewis, Currys and Argos, before adding: “They tend to go into stock first thing in the morning apparently.”

However, not everyone was a fan of Jen’s omelette recipe, with some arguing that it couldn’t actually be considered an omelette, with some saying it was actually a frittata.
Jen defended her method, arguing that it certainly tasted like an omelette, adding that a “ frittata is cooked for longer over low heat..whereas an omelette isn’t, however by definition a frittata is 1 of the 4 omelette types..”
Another naysayer simply wrote: “oh god no.”

While another shared how to make the perfect bacon sandwich, adding that they’ll never go back to using a frying pan.
