AHMEDABAD: The High Court has expressed strong displeasure in the case of 100-year-old and 125-year-old bridges of Gondal dynasty. The High Court questioned the municipality and the government regarding the slow operation of the bridge. The High Court has also questioned the letter written to the Urban Department, Youth and Sports Authority questioning the progress of the bridge work. The High Court has questioned that what will the youth and culture department do in the work of the municipality, urban development department?

The High Court also observed that the concerned carres appear to be merely passing the time. The court questioned why the Archaeological Department was not contacted. The High Court also pointed out that this is not a question that has to wait for years. He further informed that thousands of people pass through this bridge every day. Then we will not tamper with people’s lives. Now it’s enough, we need a certain time.
