Another grain scam has been exposed from Rajkot. In which a large amount of suspicious food grain has been found without any account from the government godown. According to the information received, the police received information that a large quantity of grain was about to be transported from Paiyad Road near Vinchiya. Based on which SOG staff was on patrol in Vinchiya area. Just then, after stopping the suspicious mini truck and questioning the driver, the police found 231 sacks of rice and 40 sacks of wheat from the truck, totaling Rs. 4.36 lakhs amount of 14.5 tonnes of grain was recovered. But as it seemed suspicious, the supply officer was informed about this and action was taken.
The police investigation also revealed that this suspicious grain quantity was asked to be sent to Bavla by Mansukh Talsaniawala of Vinchiya. Before this, the driver has done this kind of journey in different fairs. The police have kept the quantity of suspected grain in the government godown of Vinchiya..but where did the quantity come from? Where to give? Is this amount government? The police have started further investigation in this regard.
