A major fire incident has come to light at TRP Mall in Bhopal in Ahmedabad. First, the GameZone Sky Trampoline on the 5th floor of the mall caught fire. The fire had assumed a ferocious form. The fire was so fierce that it spread upto the fourth floor of the building. However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. As soon as the incident was reported, more than 10 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire.
The fire in Pantaloon’s showroom spread to the fourth floor
The fire spread faster as the garment showroom first caught fire. Fire is suspected due to short circuit. However, there are questions about whether there were fire safety equipment in the mall and if there were, whether they were in working condition or not. It may take another two to three hours to control the fire, considering the type of fire scene that has emerged. Efforts are being made to douse the fire with continuous water cannons. Being a clothing mall has created a huge amount of food wastage. However, fortunately, according to the preliminary information, no casualties have been reported.
