The controversy over one of Parshottam Rupala’s statements has not subsided and the Kshatriya community is in deep waters. Rupala has so far apologized twice for her statement. But the Kshatriyas are not ready to be swayed and are adamant about canceling Rupala’s ticket from Rajkot. However, the Patidar community has now come to Rupala’s rescue amid all the developments. Chairman of Sardar Patel Group, Kalpesh Ranke, has given a statement to Rupala that despite Rupala’s apology twice, the protest is taking place. The resentment of the Kshatriya community now seems to be taking a political colour. He further added that he will support Rupala in all ways. Efforts will be made not to cancel Rupala’s ticket.
On this side, the people of Ambika township area of Rajkot have also come in support of Rupala. Many society residents have come in support of Rupala and are unanimously demanding that Rupala’s ticket should not be cancelled. He said that we are lucky to have the leadership of the Union Minister.
Lalit Vasoya accused the Patidar community of making hands
As soon as the Patidars came forward in the defense of Rupala, the leaders of the Gujarat Congress have also entered the fray. Congress candidate from Porbandar Lok Sabha seat Lalit Vasoya has made serious allegations against BJP. Vasoya alleged that the BJP is now trying to create a divide between the two communities by arming the Patidar community. BJP people are leading the Patidar community to bake political bread. Vasoya also appealed to Patidars to stay away from personal fights. He alleged that Rupala’s rhetoric had hurt the sentiments of the Kshatriya community.
Pratap Dudhat’s hard attack on BJP
On the other hand, former Congress MLA from Savarkundla, Pratap Dudhat, attacked the BJP and accused the BJP of creating class conflict between the society. Dudhat said that BJP leaders should stop posting in the name of society. BJP leaders should not fight the society internally. He said that this is BJP’s personal fight, don’t involve society in it. Be careful that there is no class conflict between the two societies. Pratap Dudhat has also appealed that no one from the society should make a statement on the Rupala controversy.
Leader of Kshatriya Samaj JP Jadeja has warned that if Rupala’s ticket is not cancelled, Kshatriya Samaj will have to hit the road. If any situation worsens, it will be the responsibility of the government. Kshatriya women on fast will also be the responsibility of the government. Our only demand is that Parshottam Rupala’s ticket should be cancelled. It is worth mentioning that Padminiba Vala, a woman leader of the Kshatriya Samaj in Rajkot, has given up food and is sitting on a fast in the wadi of the Kshatriya Samaj located at Railnagar. Lawyers of Rajkot Kshatriya Samaj district have also come to the fray. The lawyers presented to the District Collector. The Kshatriya community says that if the Kshatriya community and especially the youth are wrongly harassed, they will fight a legal battle.
