Gujarat Government Spokesperson Minister Rishikesh Patel has revealed the serious allegations made by Congress President Shaktisinh Gohil on Saturday that there is widespread corruption in the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, known as GIDC in Gujarat, on Monday. Rishikesh Patel termed Shaktisingh's allegation as baseless and hampering Gujarat's industrial development.
Rishikesh Patel, questioning the Congress, said that the policy rules for the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation have been in effect since 1962, these are the policy rules made by the Congress government, so why not a single plot of GIDC was allocated through public auction during their rule. The Congress has given the GIDC plots to their miscreants, who seem to be attached to them.
BJP's vote share has increased in recent elections in Gujarat. Angered by this, the Congress is trying to fill the people with all kinds of allegations. The Congress, which is out of power in Gujarat, is now making false allegations to alienate the people of Gujarat from the BJP, the spokesperson said.
