The 1650 bigha land of the new Surajdeval temple, which is the center of faith of the Kathi community, is being taken away under torch limits, there is anger in the Kathi community. 2150 bighas of land was given to the new Surajdeval temple in 1914 by the State of Chotila. There is widespread anger in the Kathi community after the Mamalatdar's 1650 bigha gauchar land of the Surajdeval temple was confiscated by the Srisarkar.
The Kathi community is in a mood to fight against the government on the issue of taking back the land. Leaders of the Kathi community have said that if the government does not return the temple land, the government will have to suffer.
The leaders of the Kathi community gathered regarding the land of Surajdeval temple. The land of Surajdeval temple is located in Rabarika village of Savarkundla taluka, Devsar Kabran Nava Bamanbor Rupavati, Rajpara, Surendranagar district. A strategy was formulated to adopt the path of agitation against the government if the Gauchar land was not returned.
