Legal notice sent to BCB
A report has claimed that Bangladesh Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Shajib Mahmood Alam has sent a legal notice to BCB and demanded Shakib's immediate removal from the national team. The legal notice cited ICC rules as saying that the former Bangladesh captain is facing criminal charges. However, Bangladesh Cricket Board President Farooq Ahmed has said that a decision on Shakib Al Hasan's future will be taken soon. Farooq held a long meeting with some of his board directors at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday and said he would take a decision on Shakib before the second Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi on August 30.
