First the tomatoes will be sent to Delhi-NCR and then across the country at cheap prices. Apart from tomatoes, the government takes decisions from time to time to provide pulses, flour, onions and tomatoes at cheaper prices.
Why did the government take this decision?
This step has been taken to curb the skyrocketing price of tomatoes. Tomato prices have risen sharply in the past few weeks. Due to which the common man is facing a lot of trouble. The government hopes that this move will help control prices, in fact tomato is a vegetable that is used in every household. In such a situation, due to such a rapid increase in the price of tomatoes, the common man's pocket is getting dented and his kitchen budget is ruined. This decision of the government is expected to give relief to people who go ahead after hearing the rate.
