The Ministry of External Affairs has given great information on the border dispute with China. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has given important information and said that the negotiators between India and China have been in contact with each other for the past few weeks on the border dispute in Eastern Ladakh. India and China have reached an agreement on patrolling along the LAC. Many issues with China have been resolved. Tensions between the two countries have eased after agreeing on patrolling.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that arrangements have been made for patrolling at different points on the LAC. Due to which the soldiers have retreated. Many issues with China have also been resolved. Along with this, he also gave information about the BRICS Summit. Vikram Misri said that in Case BRICS, along with the founding members, new members will also be inducted.
The summit will have two main sessions
The BRICS summit will begin on October 22. On the first day there will be a dinner for the leaders. The main day of the summit is October 23. There will be two main sessions. After the morning session, there will be an open session in the afternoon on the main topic of the summit. Leaders are also expected to adopt the Kazan Declaration, which will pave the way forward for the BRICS. The summit will end on October 24.

PM can also hold many bilateral meetings
This information on the border dispute with China comes a day before PM Modi leaves for the Russian city of Kazan to attend the BRICS summit. The Prime Minister may also hold several bilateral meetings during the summit. No official information has been given by the Ministry of External Affairs, but it is expected that PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.
