The 15-time major champion underwent more back surgery in September – his sixth operation in 10 years.
But now the American star is set to return to action along with his 15-year-old son Charlie.
Woods said: “I’m very excited to head back to the PNC Championship next week with Charlie.
“Playing together is something we look forward to and it’s always more special when you’re surrounded by friends and family.”
Team Woods will pair up for the 36-hole event at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.

The prestigious father-son tournament kicks off on December 19 and runs up until the 22nd.
Tiger and Charlie have paired up for the PNC Championship every year since 2020.
