Team India's performance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy was disappointing. Captain Rohit Sharma was a flop in both his captaincy and batting. Neither the team could excel under his captaincy nor did his batting have any edge. After being a constant flop, Rohit Sharma is on target from former cricketers to fans.
After flopping continuously in Tests, former cricketers advised him to play domestic cricket. Now Rohit Sharma's childhood coach Dinesh Lad has also joined the former cricketer's voice. Dinesh Lad said that Rohit should play domestic cricket. He also revealed two big goals for Rohit's future.
Dinesh Lad said, 'He is not the only cricketer who was struggling to score runs. Rohit should play one or two domestic matches to prepare for Test matches. He is a technically strong cricketer and scored good runs against England last year. If we win, people call Rohit the best captain, but when we lose, people say no.
Talking about Rohit's next two big goals in cricket, Dinesh Lad said, 'I think Rohit has only two goals, first to win the World Test Championship and second to win the ODI World Cup. He could have retired from all formats if he wanted but he only retired from T20 cricket.
Rohit Sharma could score only 31 runs in three matches in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. After constant flops in Test cricket, he is being advised to play red-ball cricket in domestic cricket, which will help him in the future. Let us tell you that Rohit last played domestic cricket in the year 2016. (All Photo Credit : PTI / X)
