The Champions Trophy is being played in Pakistan. The Champions Trophy matches are being held in three stadiums in Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi. A young Indian national flag was seen riding a recent match in Lahore. As soon as the security personnel were noticed, they reached the young man and took the tricolor from him. In addition, the young man's collar was grabbed and taken out of the stadium. He was later arrested by police.

Earlier, a video went viral on social media in which the flags of all countries participating in the Champions Trophy were seen at Karachi Stadium, but the Indian flag was not seen. A source clarified that India did not come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and therefore the Indian flag was not hoisted at the stadium. The flags of seven other teams in Pakistan have been flown. However, as the controversy over the issue was increasing, the Indian tricolor was also hoisted with the flag of other countries at Pakistan's stadium.

India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh are in Group A. Both India and New Zealand have entered the semifinals of the Champions Trophy, beating Pakistan and Bangladesh, while both Pakistan and Bangladesh have lost two consecutive matches. The two will now play the last formal match against each other on February 27.

A video of the incident on social media has gone viral. In which a young man is flagging the Indian flag at the stadium. It is being said that the video is a match between Australia and England at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Meanwhile, a young man was seen hoisting an Indian flag. Security guards went to the man, grabbed his collar and picked up his seat and took it out. Video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
