Indian cricket team star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanshree Verma have moved in the direction of divorce. The decision may be made tomorrow (March 20) on their mutual divorce. The Bombay High Court has directed the Bandra Magistrate Court to give a verdict in the case by Thursday, as Chahal will be busy for IPL 2025 after March 21.
34 -year -old Chahal will play for Punjab Kings (PBKs) in IPL 2025, whose first match will be against Gujarat Titans on March 25.
During the mega auction of IPL 2025, the Punjab franchise owned by Preeti Zinta bought Chahal for Rs 18 crore. Earlier, Chahal also played for Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Chahal and Dhanshree filed a divorce in the Family Court on February 5 for divorce, but the Family Court refused to forgive the 6 -month cooling of period. Under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, this period is considered necessary to have a chance to reconcile spouses.
The bench of Justice Madhav Jamdar had noticed that Chahal and Dhanshri have been separated for two and a half years and the conditions related to the nourishment between the two have been complied with.
In view of these situations, the bench waived the 6 -month cooling of period. According to the Family Court, Chahal promised Dhanshree to pay Rs 4.75 crore, of which he has paid Rs 2.37 crore.
Considering all these factors, the situation has now become clear that the decision to divorce Chahal and Dhanshree may come soon. (All Image – Instagram)
