The Indian cricket team is busy preparing for a five -match Test series against England. The Test series is set to begin on June 20, and before the series, big news has come from the Indian team’s practice camp. It is reported that coach Gautam Gambhir stopped wicketkeeper and vice -captain Rishabh Pant from batting.
Team India’s practice camp is running in Baconham where Rishabh Pant practiced a lot on Sunday. Pant first started batting with a throw down, where he worked on his rhythm and footwork. Then he first faced spin bowlers Kuldeep Washington Sundar Jadeja and later fast bowlers Bumrah, Famous, Arshadeep and Siraj.
Pant was appearing in the rhythm but then the chief coach Gautam Gambhir stopped him from batting. Gambhir went to her and talked to her for a while. Usually no batsman stops in the midst of serious batting, but this time he did so. After talking to Pant, he started watching his batting again.
However, during this practice, Pant’s left hand played a ball. Pant came out of the net and then the team doctor put an ice pack on his hand. After this, a bandage was built on Pant’s hand and he was seen resting for an hour. However, Pant later said that it was okay.
