India’s explosive wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant played a brilliant 134 runs against England in the lead test. In this innings, he hit 12 fours and six sixes, as well as made some records.
With this innings, Pant completed the seventh century of his Test career. Along with this, he has also become the highest number of Indian wicketkeeper batsman in the Test. Prior to this record was MS Dhoni with 6 centuries. While Riddhiman Saha scored 3 Test centuries.
Rishabh Pant scored the fourth century against England. What is special is that he has scored 3 of these centuries on England’s soil. Other than that, no other foreign wicketkeeper has scored more than one Test century in England.
This is the fifth century of Rishabh Pant outside India. With this century, Pant has reached the third place in the list of wicketkeeper batsmen who scored the highest Test century on foreign soil.
