Sen, one of India's best men's single players, made it to the Hong Kong Open Super 500 final. Lakshya reached the final after beating Taiwan's Chau Tean Chen in a thrilling semifinal match.
The target had to struggle a lot for this brilliant victory against the world's number 3 player Tean Chen and finally won the match from 23-21, 22-20.
This victory of the target was special because after 2 years of waiting, he reached the final of the Super Series. Earlier, he played the Canadian Open in 2023.
Target Sen will clash against China's Lee Shi Feng in the final of the tournament on Sunday, September 14th. The world's No. 4 Feng defeated France's Christo Popov 21-18, 21-19 in the semifinals.
