Why was the coach created?
Abdur Razak explains why Mohammad Ashraful was appointed batting coach. Razak said that Ashraful has vast experience in opening the innings, which is why he has been appointed as the batting coach. “Ashraful has experience, he has completed coaching courses, and his experience in this role has proved to be important for us,” Razak told the media. Bangladesh and Ireland will play two Tests and three T20 matches. The tour will begin on November 11 in Sylhet, while the second match will be played in Mirpur on November 19.
How to get caught in a spot fixing scam?
Mohammad Ashraful was caught in the spot-fixing scandal in the Bangladesh Premier League. During the 2013 BPL, Ashraful took money from bookies and deliberately played bad shots in certain overs, which affected the outcome of the match. Ashraful admitted his guilt during the investigation and was indicted by the BCB in 2014. Ashraful was banned for eight years, which was later reduced to five years.
Ashraful's career
Ashraful played 61 Test matches for Bangladesh, scoring six centuries. He also played 177 ODIs, scoring 3,468 runs, including three centuries and 20 half-centuries. Ashraful scored 33 centuries and over 16,000 runs in his professional career.
