Before the start of T20 World Cup 2026, all the teams are getting a chance to play warm-up matches to gauge their preparations. A warm-up match played on February 4 saw a major turnaround before the start of the tournament.
Which team beat?
The Afghanistan team played a warm-up match against two-time champions West Indies at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru before the mega event. The match witnessed Afghanistan's complete dominance with both bat and ball, in which they gave a warning to all teams by handing West Indies a one-sided defeat.
In the warm-up match against West Indies, the Afghanistan team batted first and scored 182 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
