A GRUESOME jelly brain that oozes “blood” and has realistic “eyeballs” has left children traumatised.
The £5 M&S Halloween dessert is the size of a human brain and comes with raspberry drizzle and popping candy sprinkles to make it crackle menacingly.
Suspended in the wobbly jelly are skinned lychees, which resemble human eyeballs, with blueberries inserted to look like pupils.
Mum-of-two Niamh Coyne, 34, of Reigate, Surrey, said: “It is one of the most terrifying Halloween food products I’ve ever seen.
“My kids were traumatised by the attention to detail. It’s like something out of a horror movie — but it’s absolutely delicious to eat!”
“Whoever designed it should be doing Hollywood special effects.”

“Thankfully it’s absolutely delicious to eat, so that makes up for the nightmares it will give you!”
The £5 “Eye Popping Jelly Brain” is part of a Halloween food range at M&S which also includes Eerie Eyeballs, Zom-Beef Fingers, Eye Want Pizza and a cheesy garlic bread called Petrified Pamela Pumpkin.
