The Gamkhwar tragedy happened in a school in Vastadi village in Surendranagar’s Wadhwan. A student studying in the 9th standard of the school died due to electrocution. After which there is mourning in the family and the people of the village. Many allegations are being made against the school and the teacher.
The student died on the spot after being electrocuted while trying to start the motor
According to information, a student named Sumit Rudatla was in the school. Then he went to turn on the water motor. Meanwhile, the student was electrocuted and died on the spot. Notably, the family members of the deceased have alleged that a teacher had sent the student to start the motor. After which this tragedy has happened. He also alleged that students are made to do labor work instead of teaching in school.
Importantly, the dead student has been shifted to the hospital and post-mortem has been done. However, there has been an outcry among the people regarding the incident. The family of the deceased and the village leader have said that the school was negligent. Then the question arises, are the children taught or made to work in the school? And who is responsible for the death of this student? So, now it remains to be seen whether there is any investigation against the school or teachers in the future?
A young girl tried to commit suicide by jumping into the canal, the girl died
Meanwhile, young men and women committed suicide by jumping into the canal in Surendranagar. In which the girl has died due to drowning while the youth is under treatment. The family alleges that the girl died because the young man pushed her. The girl’s family has demanded action against the youth. The family members have expressed their concern that they will not accept the dead body of the girl until action is taken against the youth.
