Incidents of attacks on Gujaratis living in America are coming up frequently. Questions are sometimes raised regarding the safety of Gujaratis living abroad. When incidents of firing and other attacks on Gujaratis are frequent, a program was held in America to find out how to prevent this crime.
For the protection of Gujaratis, a large number of Gujarati community living in the US and dignitaries there organized a coffee with conversation program with the US police for the protection of Gujaratis.
The program was conducted under the leadership of president of Indo America Los Angeles and businessman Yogi Patel, PK Nayak and Parimal Shah and Rajupatel.
The event was held on May 23 in Artesia, California. In which the safety of Gujaratis was discussed with the police officers.
Gujarati leaders including Anil Mahajan, Sanjay Shah, Rohini Bedi were present in the program. Mr. Luna said in the program that the crime rate is decreasing. America is working with private companies to find homes for homeless people. Apart from this, there was also a discussion about the targeting of Gujarati society by some gangs.
